"If we are not given the option to live without violence, we are given the choice to center our meals around harvest or slaughter, husbandry or war. We have chosen slaughter. We have chosen war. That's the truest version of our story of eating animals.

Can we tell a new story?”

Wonder.

Yeah I know, I'm late, no blogging for too long again. I don't know I think I was not really in the mood for writing anything. I got a little frustrated lately by always having to justify why I try living vegan as much as I can. People often say they feel being judged by vegans and vegetarians, though I only share information and never say "you have to...". I just tell what is there and why I am not eating animals but they kind of always feel threatened, which makes me sad.
I haven't been that much on the internet the last days cause I felt overwhelmed somehow. By all the bad that is there and by so many people who just don't seem to care. I somehow needed a little rest from all that but I think I'm ready to be back again.
Currently I live in a bigger city in Denmark, which has not as much nature around, at least not if you want to quickly walk a little down by the water or in a forest. Way too much concrete!
I just found a really beautiful pinterest board with beautiful pictures of nature on it. It is called WONDER and I think there is no better word for describing our nature. Looking at all the beauty that it creates, I know, I could never go back to destroying parts of it by being reckless and egoistic. I mean I'm not perfect, but I just really want to protect our nature and encourage everyone to do so, too. Sometimes I feel it is hard to step back from the life you're living and see what is really essential. What is it, that really counts. Because we just have so many things in life that we don't really need and we sort of burry ourselves under it. So that's what I did. I stepped back for a few days and I found nature. And I don't wanna waste any other second without appreciating what we already have and what is just there and given.
Enough of my sophisticated thoughts ;-) Here's what I wanna share. And from tomorrow on, I'll try again writing everyday. I also have some news and a little competition for you guys! See ya tmrw! xxx
